The plan included the development of detailed operating budgets plus capital expenditure estimates. The Business Plan also required a detailed review of the US finished stone market in order to develop an estimate of the potential sales. Following the acquisition of the company by an investor group, Morgan Worldwide was appointed to manage a core drilling program. The core drilling, combined with new aerial mapping, formed the basis of the bankable reserve study. Based on the reserve study and an updated market analysis Morgan Worldwide prepared a valuation of the company. The valuation report determined that an income approach based on the royalty income from the reserve was the preferred approach to determining value. The valuation detailed the development of the assumed royalty rate and the selection of the discount factor. As part of the operational support Morgan Worldwide also prepared state permit applications and an MSHA compliance program plus provided day to day monitoring of ongoing quarrying activities including negotiation of equipment leases / purchases. Morgan Worldwide developed the site plan and layout for the marble processing facility including the design of retaining walls in order to provide adequate flat space for the plant.
